Welcome to Live.WORK.Achieve, a monthly e-newsletter targeting anyone interested in and supportive of employment for youth and young adults with intellectual/developmental  disabilities. Live.WORK.Achieve is offered through the Institute for Disability Studies in collaboration with the Mississippi Council on Developmental Disabilities and Disability Rights Mississippi and includes resources and information on employment and career development.

Free Low Tech Worksite Accommodations Webinar – June 24, 10 a.m.

 

The Mississippi Partnerships for Employment for Youth and Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities (MSPE) project is sponsoring Low Tech Worksite Accommodations Webinar free of charge on Tues., June 24, from 10 to 11 a.m., Central Time. Presented by Dr. Therese Willkomm, this webinar provides an overview of worksite accommodations for people with disabilities that can be inexpensive, easy to create and completed in less than five minutes for less than $5 in cost. A variety of worksite accommodations and technology will be discussed, including adaptations using corrugated plastics and other materials as well as using the iPad.
