Welcome to Live.WORK.Achieve, a monthly e-newsletter targeting anyone interested in and supportive of employment for youth and young adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Live.WORK.Achieve is offered through the Institute for Disability Studies in collaboration with the Mississippi Council on Developmental Disabilities and Disability Rights Mississippi and includes resources and information on employment and career development.

Positions Available - Security/Computer Operator in Stennis, MS

 

Qualifications:

·        An Associates in IT related area and some experience, or a certification or minimum of high school diploma with one year of experience

·        Must be able to work full time and rotating shifts as needed, Sunday – Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday

·        Must be able to pass all background and credit checks to obtain a security clearance

 

Position Description:

·        Physical escort for visitors, vendors, and anyone else that company requires to be escorted.

·        This means they meet visitors, walk the various zones, ensure that the visitor has a valid change request and does the work they are supposed to perform

·        Ensure racks are locked, badges are properly displayed and reconcile visitor log

·        Monitor IDS, logs, antivirus definitions, etc.
